Organic hair color vs. regular color — what's different?
Organic color is a hair-color formula built around plant-derived ingredients, designed to be gentler on scalp and hair. Compared to a typical color, it tends to cause less irritation and less cumulative damage from repeated coloring.
A good fit if
- You color often and notice tingling or itching on the scalp
- You want to keep coloring while minimizing damage
- You have sensitive skin and want the gentlest formula possible
You may want a different option if
- You want a bright, high-tone result that requires bleach — conventional color is the better tool
- You've had an allergic reaction to a hair-color product before — please always do a patch test
What a session looks like
- Consultation — desired tone, color history, current scalp condition
- Scalp protection — barrier product applied if appropriate
- Color application — careful application; we may use different formulas at the roots vs. the lengths
- Develop — appropriate processing time for color setting
- Shampoo & treatment — finished with peace's signature treatment
- Finish — blow-dry and styling check
Total time: ~90–120 minutes

Notes
- "Organic" doesn't mean "allergy-free." Some guests are allergic to plant-derived ingredients — please patch test if you're at all uncertain
- Tone selection is sometimes slightly more limited than conventional color, but the natural-looking range is broad
- If you notice any irritation on your scalp or skin, please discontinue and consult a medical professional.
