Your first headspa: how a session unfolds
At Mori no Hibi, a headspa runs 60–90 minutes from consultation to finish. You'll lie on a dedicated bed and receive hydrogen shampoo plus scalp massage in one of three concept rooms — Sun, Moon, or Forest.
A good fit if
- You've never had a headspa and want to know the flow before booking
- You're not sure what to bring or wear
- You're worried about whether it's OK to fall asleep mid-treatment
You may want a different option if
- You'd rather try a quick taste first — a 15–30 minute add-on at a hair salon is a softer entry point
- You don't want your hair to get wet — a dry headspa may suit you better
What a session looks like
- Arrival & check-in — please arrive 5–10 minutes early. First-time guests fill out a short form
- Consultation — share scalp concerns, how you're feeling, and your room preference (Sun/Moon/Forest)
- Changing — change into provided salon wear. Removing accessories and contact lenses makes it easier to relax
- Hydrogen shampoo — recline on the dedicated bed; we cleanse your scalp with hydrogen shampoo
- Headspa treatment — acupressure + kneading + rinsing. Carbonated menus include a high-CO₂ wash
- Treatment & rinse — final care for hair and scalp
- Blow-dry & finish — drying with a check on your scalp's condition
- Aftercare — enjoy a hawthorn drink while we share home-care tips
Total time: 60–90 minutes (varies by menu)

Notes
- It's completely fine to fall asleep — many guests do
- Heavy styling product means longer cleansing time. Light styling is best on the day of your visit
- If you notice any irritation on your scalp or skin, please discontinue and consult a medical professional.
Frequently asked
Q: Will my makeup come off? A: Some smudging around the face area is possible. Bring a touch-up kit if you have plans afterward.
Q: Can I head straight out after the treatment? A: Yes — your hair is fully blow-dried. That said, you'll be very relaxed, so we don't recommend immediate intense exercise or tight schedules.
Q: How often should I come back? A: Once a month is a sensible baseline. If you enjoyed your first visit, booking the next one before leaving makes it easier to lock in your preferred date.
